Douglas has more than 15 years of experience in emergency preparedness and response. Prior to joining Intermedix, He was the emergency director at Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council. His duties included activities to ensure preparedness, planning, response and recovery for ESF-8 inTSA Q, which includes 9-counties, 98 hospitals, 53 emergency 911 EMS provider agencies, and more than 500 nursing homes.
Bill is currently the Field Project Officer for Hospital Preparedness Program at HHS Region VI in Dallas, TX. Since 1991, he has designed numerous emergency preparedness programs for the military, state and local government as well as the private sector for healthcare organizations, government agencies, and corporations. Companies such as Verizon Communications, MLB, Department of Interior’s Statue of Liberty Park and Fortune 500 companies have used Bill’s innovative approaches for Emergency Preparedness.
Jackie is the vice president of grant management and safety for MHA and oversees strategic operations for the federal Hospital Preparedness Program. She leads several initiatives to increase hospital surge capacity while developing a sustainable program to ensure continuity of safe and quality healthcare. Jackie serves on the executive committee for the American Hospital Association’s Emergency Readiness Group and is the staff liaison for the Missouri Society for Healthcare Engineers.
